The new biography Bob Marley: One Love debuted on Tuesday at the Carib 5 Theatre in Kingston, Jamaica, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made an unexpected cameo.
The happy pair posed for pictures and chatted with Marley’s family members, who attended to express their support for the movie, while ET was the only media outlet there on the red carpet.
Meghan, 42, dazzled in a stylish black dress that she accessorized with a black purse and gold earrings, while Harry, 39, looked smart in a blue suit and white button-down.
Harry had already traveled to Jamaica before he and Meghan became romantically involved.
During his Diamond Jubilee visit of the Caribbean in 2012, the prince made his way to the island nation and was spotted dancing with a sizable crowd to Marley’s classic smash song “One Love.” He also got to know Rita Marley, the late musician’s widow.
In the movie, which seeks to honor the life and music of “an icon who inspired generations through his message of love and unity,” Kingsley Ben-Adir plays the Jamaican musician.
One Love, which is produced by the Marley family and directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, also stars Lashana Lynch, James Norton, Tosin Cole, Anthony Welsh, Michael Gandolfini, Umi Myers, and Nadine Marshall.
One of the first approved biopics of the groundbreaking artist, the project features executive producers Richard Hewitt, Orly Marley, Matt Solodky, Rita Marley, Cedella Marley, Robert Teitel, Brad Pitt, and Dede Gardner in addition to Ziggy Marley, Bob’s son.
