It’s been 745 days,106 weeks and 17,880 hours since Black Mirror season 5 debuted on Netflix yet who’s checking… uh, we are!
The Netflix original series has been M.I.A. since the time it aired its last episode, “Rachel, Jack, and Ashley Too,” highlighting American singer Miley Cyrus, and we’re wondering why there hasn’t been a lot of information since the time the season 5 finale.
Doubtlessly, it can’t be because of the marvelous ratings that the series got in its debut season, scoring an amazing audience score of 81% and a critic score of 84% on Rotten Tomatoes. Definitely, being one of Netflix’s best-performing original series can’t be the justification the show’s nonattendance. It essentially can’t be a direct result of the large numbers of fans reviving their social media every day waiting for some news–it basically can’t be.
While we actually don’t realize a lot about Black Mirror season 6’s whereabouts, we do know one thing without a doubt… season 6 won’t be coming to Netflix in July 2021.
Black Mirror season 6 release date
As we’ve passionately expressed before, there isn’t much yet known in regards to the 6th season of Black Mirror including a release date. The previous five seasons debuted on immensely various dates every year making it truly hard to anticipate when we can expect another season.
Maybe the show is making some sort of meta-statement by making us stand by this long, pointing out society’s failure to quietly trust that new episodes will show up on their black screens. (How cool would that be?)
While we hang tight for some ideally good news, make certain to stream each episode of the Netflix original series to re-experience probably the best episodes that were ever made, for example, “White Bear”, “Nosedive” and “Black Museum”.
