Google first made available the first Android 15 beta on April 11 and then on May 15 released the second beta. Nothing released Beta 1 to the Phone 2a until just one day prior to the release of the second beta. The Phone 2 upgrade is currently being made available by the company.
No blog article mentioned that Phone 2 owners may now join in on the Android 15 Beta 1 festivities. The London-based phone manufacturer cautions that this build is intended for developers and experienced users if you wish to participate in the beta. Additionally, it alerts users to the need to backup their data because all data will be wiped and the storage device formatted.
Like other beta builds, there may be glitches and features that are missing. Regarding this, the business notes that there are three known issues: there is no pre-installed Nothing X/Weather/Launcher/Recorder/Widgets; fingerprints cannot be registered; and face unlock is not available.
The update has a few known problems, but it also has several new features. These features include an Android 15 Beta 1 tag, a new wallpaper, a new boot-up animation, and new support for the Glyph SDK.
