Users may now get up-to-date information on anything from stock prices to weather forecasts thanks to the new function, which was first made available to ChatGPT Plus and Team subscribers.
OpenAI stated while launching the functionality that “Getting useful answers on the web can take a lot of effort,” “It often requires multiple searches and digging through links to find quality sources and the right information.”
The business and Hearst announced a content partnership on October 8 that will integrate the publishing company’s domestic magazine and newspaper content into OpenAI’s generative AI technologies.
Users of ChatGPT will be able to view Hearst publications through the partnership, along with relevant citations and direct links that will provide transparency and convenient access to the original Hearst sources.
