Singaporean rapper BGourd has divulged his most recent EP ‘Veggie Wraps, Vol. 3’ today (June 18).
Following the past two portions of ‘Veggie Wraps’ – both released last year – BGourd has teamed up with beatmaker/maker Beansprouts on this undertaking, which offers a brief 15 minutes of crackpot blast bap rap. The EP likewise reunites BGourd with maker FAUXE, who cooperated with the rapper on ‘Vol. 2’ last year.
The EP’s focus track, named ‘Virtual Machine’, is depicted as a commentary on modern technology and society’s relationship with it, per a press release. The seven-song record likewise includes the pre-released single ‘Whack’ as well as different tracks ‘Jay’, ‘Schooled’, ‘Robbing Breath’, ‘Crane’ and ‘Gone’, which features e-plant.

Preceding ‘Veggie Wraps, Vol. 3’, BGourd worked with maker Jason Gelchen for the track ‘NO FLIX’. The two showed up on one of five episodes of the Majulah Weekender web series in which artists were matched with producers and tasked to team up on an original song.
Recently, BGourd was dnominated for two categories at Singapore’s *SCAPE Youth Music Awards. He lost both Artist Of The Year in the rap category and Single Of The Year (for ‘Outside Air’) to Yung Raja.
