Although Dynamic Island is expected to be added to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus this year, two display features are still reportedly missing. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will not have ProMotion or an Always-On display, according to a new report on the Korean blog website Naver.
The account “yuex1122” is the source of this report, which cites a “domestic display industry source.” In the past, this account has accurately reported on unreleased Apple devices. The reliable analyst Ross Young’s September report also supports this particular claim.
In the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, Apple uses an LTPO display panel because this display technology has refresh rates that range from 1Hz to 120Hz. The Always-On display of the iPhone 14 Pro is powered by low refresh rate technology. Apple’s Advancement tech, in the interim, permits the iPhone to top at 120Hz rates for super smooth animations and different advantages.
However, the Dynamic Island design is still expected to replace the notch on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus this year. Additionally, USB-C will be used for data transfer and charging of the devices.
